Planning Director - The responsibilities of the planning director include: (1) advising the City Manager on any matter affecting the physical development of the City; (2) formulating and making recommendations to the City Manager for a comprehensive plan; (3) reviewing and making recommendations regarding proposed Council action implementing the comprehensive plan pursuant to established planning procedure; (4) participating in the preparation and revision of the capital improvement program; (5) advising the City Planning and Zoning Commission in the exercise of its responsibilities and to provide necessary staff assistance.
Planner III - Deals primarily with transportation planning and the Metropolitan Planning Organization as well as all other aspects of planning.
Planner II - Deals primarily with flood plain administration, flood plain management, addressing, and platting as well as all other aspects of planning.
Planner II - Deals primarily with zoning, historic district and preservation as well as all other aspects of planning.
Planner II - Deals primarily with platting and special projects as well as all other aspects of planning.
Administrative Assistant - Deals primarily with office operations, scheduling and coordinating office matters, schedules, agendas, meetings and fiscal/budgetary matters as well as the preparation of documentation, reports, ordinances, resolutions and Council communications.
Administrative Secretary - Deals primarily with fiscal process, office operations, process and tracks department finances and departmental documents in accordance with City policies and procedures.
Administrative Assistant - Deals primarily with administrative process of the Metropolitan Planning Organization.
Drafting Technician - Deals primarily with manual drafting and updating all existing maps.
